NeboWeb Helps the Arc of the Capital Area Launch New Website

AUSTIN (October 18, 2007) – The Arc of the Capital Area, a non-profit organization that is committed to promoting independence and choice by providing individualized services to adults and children with developmental disabilities, has announced the launch of their new website (http://www.arcofthecapitalarea.org).
The site was designed and developed by the interactive marketing agency, NeboWeb, and is powered by their proprietary AJAX-based content management system which allows volunteers and staff without Web development skills to manage the website. The goal of the website is to improve the navigation and information flow for its users and to increase its stakeholders’ confidence by improvements in design and creativity.
“We love our new site and believe this is a great first step in helping us better provide individualized services to those with developmental disabilities through our website," adds Randi Knight, Director of Development & Marketing of the Arc of the Capital Area.
In addition to the design enhancements, implementation of the CMS, and navigation improvements, the new site is primarily geared to getting more people involved with the organization. Visitors can sign up for memberships or sponsorships, donate online, and interact in a number of additional ways to become more educated and engaged.
